I’ve been in and out of the recording studio this past week, working on my newest single called ‘Masterpiece’. While in studio, Jewel did a Facebook livestream and we’ve incorporated the footage into this ROCK N’ ROAR episode so you guys can see a bit of what goes down in the making of a song. In the livestream, you’ll see me in the recording booth working with the audio engineer on a particular line in the song.

Rock N Roar means doing what you love and doing it LOUD; being unapologetically YOU and doing it with courage and passion. My intention for this project is to inspire action in other artists and creatives. Most people just see the finished product – the song, the painting, the photo, the design – but this right here is the journey, the story. A lot of us are struggling by ourselves, struggling with creativity, with procrastination, with self-doubt, with fear… And we’re dealing with all of this alone. The support system just isn’t there. So with this project, I want to let you know that I’m right here alongside you in this journey. We are stronger together.
